APN Setting ZTE Velocity Mobile Hotspot

ZTE velocity 2To add an Access Point Name (APN)

  1. Connect your device to your mobile hotspot, open a browser then type http://192.168.1.1 then press enter
  2. Log in as an Administrator. The default password is attadmin. The password is case-sensitive.
  3. Click on Settings > Network > APN
  4. Click ‘Add’
  5. The APN page will show, then enter the following information:

For unlimited plans:

    • APN Name: My1Wifi
    • APN: Broadband

For budget plans:

    • APN Name: My1Wifi
    • APN: Simple

6. Select the network authentication mode:

  • None
  • PAP
  • CHAP

7. Enter the Username and Password, if required.
8. Then click Save.

To Select an APN to Use

  1. Connect your device to your mobile hotspot, open a browser then type http://192.168.1.1 then press enter
  2. Enter the password. The default password is attadmin. The password is case-sensitive.
  3. Click on Settings > Network > APN
  4. The APN page will show, select an APN entry to be used from the drop-down menu beside Profile Selection.
